I was absolutely blown away by the service myself and my Westie Loki received!! He has NEVER had a successful trip to the groomers in that time. This wonderful lady was so kind from the moment I arrived. This miracle worker had removed every bit of matting, every tangle, every twig, and every seed! She even clipped his claws which usually takes a team of 3 people! I can only assume that Super Woman is working at For The Love of Dogs under cover!! I am so incredibly grateful to you for what you have done for Loki today and for the love and care you showed him, and I! I HIGHLY recommend For The Love of Dogs!!!

First time Milo has been here. He's a big boy but they weren't fazed at all. He very happily went in for his groom. Came back to pick him up and he was so relaxed behind the counter laying on the floor 🥰. Would highly recommend! Lovely relaxed atmosphere and my boy came out looking and smelling fabulous.

We took our English Springer Spaniel, Mayzie, to For The Love of Dogs in Poole, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Mayzie is naturally very shy around strangers and other dogs, and she can sometimes be a bit reactive when being combed. The girls at the salon were so patient and gentle with her, treating her with genuine care and understanding. The end result was amazing — Mayzie came out looking gorgeously well-trimmed, clean, and so much more comfortable. It’s clear they really know how to handle dogs with different personalities, and we felt completely at ease leaving her in their hands. We’d definitely recommend them and will be using their services again!

As always, our experience at For The Love of Dog from start to finish was fantastic. From the warm welcome when phoning to make an appointment as a returning customer, to the genuine and lovely enthusiasm of all the lovely ladies at the Lymington salon, it was a smooth and easy experience. Pippa was well looked after and looked fantastic when we picked her up. Thank you as always. Next time we are back in the New Forest, we will be back!

Scampi is lovely and soft and her claws are clipped perfectly. She also made a doggy friend while she was there. She is normally shy around other dogs. So I was pleased she felt confident enough while she was there. Can’t remember the lady’s name but she always looks after Scampi. She is great with her.

Every time I bring my golden retriever here, he comes back looking beautiful and smelling incredible! His coat is always soft, shiny, and perfectly trimmed — they really pay attention to the little details. The team Robyn and Alicia are so friendly and clearly cares about the dogs they work with. My pup always comes home happy, relaxed, and looking his best. Highly recommend this salon if you want your dog truly pampered!

An absolute joy to take my 10mth old fox red labrador to this parlour. Very professional and very caring. Kobi had a lovely bath and nails done. And he loved the treats so much, his bum wouldn't stop wiggling. Would100% recommend this groomers and will definitely use again 🐾

For the Love of Dog were recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. Lovely caring woman who cleaned my boys teeth with great care, no rush, extreme patience. I mentioned it on a group dog walk at the weekend and at least half a dozen people said they were definitely going to book an appointment. I went to the Poole branch but I know they are all have caring staff.

Absolutely love FTLOF! The team are just fantastic but a very special mention has to go to Lottie!! She has worked wonders with my dog who was very nervous of grooming. However thanks to the time and patience Lottie has given him he loves his spa day and comes out looking and smelling fab every single time! They have even progressed to belly rubs and kisses!

Kasa & Zaya my Tibetan Terriers had their bath's yesterday at Lymington, they came relaxed & happy, well done girls you've done a Brilliant job.I would highly recommend them. Thanks Kerry

My Golden Retriever Millie went for her first groom here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The girls greeted me with smiles and treated her very gently as her skin is a little sore. Their Professional & Personal care made all the difference, and she looked beautiful when we picked her up. Thank you, girls, for making our first trip to you so very pleasant.

Fantastic experience for my goldendoodle today. He had got into a bit of a mess after being in kennels and I had little hope of him being savable without a full shave. Eloise worked wonders with her Professional & Personal grooming skills and performed nothing short of a miracle to return him to a soft, fluffy puppy.
